Dr Saleh is a general practitioner having trained and Qualified from Imperial College London (Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital). She specialises in Functional Medicine, an individual patient-centred approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of chronic disease. Dr Saleh applies a holistic approach to medicine and likes to use alternative and natural therapies where appropriate. As a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, she offers a very personalised experience for her patients and her mantra is “prevention is better than cure.”

She is listed on the Institute of Functional Medicine website and trained for almost 3 years with Dr Gabor Maté, a renowned expert in the study and treatment of addiction, trauma and childhood development.

She has worked as a GP in London since 2006 and has a special interest in women’s health, including menopause and fertility. Other areas of focus are mental health, weight management techniques, dermatology and Chronic Disease Management.

She helped set up the Urgent Care Centres in the A+E departments of Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals working as their lead GP. She is also a rural and remote GP specialising in Acute Medicine and A+E having worked for 3 years on the Isle of Arran in Scotland where the GPs run the A+E department and Hospital along with the practices.

On moving to Gibraltar she was employed by the MOD as the forces’ GP dealing with Occupational Medicals, Dive medicals and Injuries in addition to general GP work. She has been working at the College Clinic since September 2015.
